What are some causes that made cars to catch fire;
- Leakage
A leaking fuel tanker is the topmost cause of vehicles catching fire. There are a lot causes of tanker leakage and the worst is the fact that cars come with little warning about this. Cars come with highly flammable liquids that can catch fire after reaching some degrees of temperature. Gasoline can spark fire at just a 45 degrees fahrenheit.
2. Spilling Fluids
As mentioned earlier, cars come with a lot of fluids such as gasoline or diesel fuel, engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, engine coolant etc, and these fluids are in circulation at the start of your car. The slightest fault to their cables can get a whole car in flames. Check up your car whenever you smell the scent of any of the fluids to avoid danger.
3.Overheating Engines
An overheating engine requires the quickest mechanical attention. Causes of overheating engine include; leaking gasket, malfunctioning radiator among others. A car’s engine is not seemingly enough to get a whole car in flames but what takes place in the engine is capable of causing internal fluids like coolant to heat up and catch fire.
