Apply for one of the three social champion scholarships in Canberra University awaiting deserving international students intending to start at the University in the 1st Semester of 2023. About Social Champion Scholarship

The University of Canberra was founded in 1967 as a public research institute with its main campus in Bruce, Australia. In order to help those from diverse and adverse backgrounds to study and research at the University, the Social Champion Scholarship was founded by Vice Chancellor Paddy Nixon.

Eligibility Of The Social Champion Scholarship

Apply for the Vice Chancellor’s Social Champion Scholarship if you are:

1. Located offshore the country at the time of application.

2. Applied but not started your postgraduate or undergraduate degree studies at Canberra University.

3. A new student enrolling for the first time at the University of Canberra.

4. Have satisfied the program’s academic requirements with a minimum of 80% average [ or equivalent ]

5. Hold any form of offer letter [ including conditional or provisional offer ] issued by the University of Canberra.

6. Are applying to study on an Australian study visa.

7.  A primary visa applicant. Dependants will not be eligible for the scholarship, or able to accompany the primary visa applicant.

Benefits Of The Social Champion Scholarship

Successful applicants will enjoy up to $ 50,000 per year which will cover:

1. Tuition fee for the course duration

2. on-campus accommodation

3. 10,000 AUD per year allowance

4. And other miscellaneous expenses in the year.

How To Apply For Social Champion Scholarship

To apply to this scholarship at Canberra University in two simple steps:

1. If you have an offer letter from the university of Canberra for Semester 1 2023. If you do not have an offer, you can apply for admission to the University here. Note. Applications submitted without an offer letter from the University Of Canberra will not be processed.

2. If you apply and have an offer letter, go ahead to this page and fill out the details of the scholarship requirements and documentation which include a personal statement.

• November 2022: Applicants shortlisted will be contacted for an interview.

Applicants will need to submit a written statement that demonstrates the following:

2. Demonstrated values and experience in the following areas:1. Potential to evolve as a leader in ways that embrace and advance the principles of social and economic equity and their practice.
   2. Making a positive difference in the community by doing things differently, innovating, and inspiring others.
   3. Curiosity and a desire to learn from, collaborate and engage with perspectives from a range of cultural contexts.

The Vice Chancellor’s social champion scholarship application is currently open, but as stated earlier, you will have to apply for admission to Canberra University, and receive an offer letter before you can proceed to fill out the scholarship application form.
