The Bono Regional NPP has disowned one of its vibrant youth activists in the region, Mr. Bernard Oduro Takyi, popularly known as B.O.T.
Members of the elephant fraternity have been warned to be wary of Bernard Oduro Takyi who has been described as a traitor by the party. A message making rounds in all pro-NPP Whatsaap groups has directed administrators of such platforms to remove him from all party platforms.

Lead local governance advocate, Bernard Oduro Takyi was seeking to topple the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah for the slot to represent the Sunyani West Constituency.
The former Presiding Member of the Sunyani West Municipal Assembly and Assembly Member for the Kwatire Electoral Area, however, had his dream dashed as he was disqualified by the National Executive Committee.
He has since declared his intention to contest as an independent candidate.
