Scholarships Available At Lancaster University Ghana.

The Lancaster University Ghana scholarship list consists of:

Academic Merit Scholarship

Applicants must have obtained 4 A’s and 1B or better in 5 subjects in WAEC or a minimum of 4A’s in IGCSE and 2A’s in A-Levels for direct entry for this scholarship.

Financial Aid Scholarship

Applicants for this scholarship must be able to prove limited family income and or insufficient funds to cover their education and related funds. Apart from that, the applicant must have a good academic record with at least 2’A’s and 1’B’ or better in 5 subjects.

Sibling Scholarship

We offer Siblings Scholarships/bursaries for siblings studying concurrently. This is an automatic 10% reduction in tuition fee when a sibling of a direct family member (Brother or Sister) studying with us joins the Lancaster University Ghana Family as a student.

Marketing Scholarship

Thi scholarship is available to only students applying to the study marketing as the name suggests. Aside from meeting the academic requirements of the university, the student must submit a 100-word essay on why they want to study marketing and their goals.

Change Scholarship

Change scholarship is for students who believe they have what it takes to live a positive impact on their communities or country as a whole with their Lancaster degree after graduation. All it takes is to submit a well convincing essay about what you intend to do and why you need the scholarship to achieve it.

Stewardship Or Community Service Scholarship

Applicants for this scholarship must submit a detailing essay about how they have demonstrated stewardship or community service during their high schools days and also share ideas about what they plan to do to demonstrate stewardship or community service during their time at the Lancaster University.

Innovation And Creativity Scholarship

Applicants for this scholarship must submit a detailing essay about how they have demonstrated innovation or creativity during their high schools days and also share ideas about what they plan to do to demonstrate innovation or creativity during their time at the Lancaster University.

Direct Scholarship

Lancaster University Ghana’s direct scholarship works in a way whereby partnering Senior High Schools collaborate with the Lancaster University Ghana to support students from these high schools with scholarships to attend the university. The scholarship offers 10 to 15% off their tuition fees at tey school.

General Eligibility For Lancaster University Ghana Scholarships

Applicants must submit a completed Scholarship Application Form along with all financial aid supporting documents (For Financial Aid Applicants), and other documents requested. You can contact the school for scholarships:

a) If you believe you are eligible for a scholarship based on academic merit (attach your official results to your application form). Ensure that you scored 2 ‘A’ grades and at least a ‘B’ (or its equivalent in other streams).

b) If you have financial needs. Scholarships based on need are allocated on a case-by-case basis. The university endeavours to consider a variety of factors, including household income and other extenuating circumstances.
