Cries and calls by some stranded Ghanaian ladies in Lebanon have been answered as Hon. Kennedy Agyapong pledges to help welcome them to Ghana.
Businessman, philanthropist and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Honorable Kennedy Agyapong has pledged support for some Ghanaian ladies stranded in Lebanon.
His aid amount which is in the sum of $100,000 follows a video report by a gentleman who witnessed the plights of the young ladies. According to the video report, about a hundred of the ladies sleep in a small room on student mattresses provided by some benevolent people.
According to reports, the said ladies who usually travel to Lebanon in search of greener pastures have been strongly hit by the ravaging effects of the covid-19 pandemic.
The video was taken by one Matison who consistently called on Kennedy Agyapong, the President and first lady, as well as the vice president and his wife to come to the aid of the stranded ladies.
Their cries has been heard by Kennedy Agyapong who pledged on the controversial show, THE SEAT on his TV station that he will help them return home. “My $100,000 is ready to help them come back home”, Mr. Agyapong said. Preparations may be underway to help repatriate them to Ghana
