John Mahama’s Camp Responds To Bawumia

National democratic Congress [ N.D.C ] John Dramani Mahama and his team has broken silence in response to Vice President Bawumia’s political ‘tactics’.

The John Mahama 2020 Campaign Team has responded to what it describes as “diversionary antics” by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader named his running mate.

The Vice President had gone on Facebook on Tuesday to chastise the former president a day after John Dramani Mahama officially unveiled Professor Naana Jane opoku-Agyemang as his running mate.

Dr Bawumia listed 50 policies he described as failed policies by the John Mahama-led government.

“It is not about what you say in opposition. It is about what you did in government,” the Vice President posted.

“What matters ultimately to Ghanaians is how these two leaders were able to manage the economy and alleviate the suffering of the people when they were given the opportunity to serve.”

But a statement issued by ‘John Mahama 2020’ and signed by Campaign Spokesperson James Agyenim-Boateng described the Vice President’s post as a “deliberate” and “comical” attempt to “divert attention…as a result of the immense pressure he has come under after paling into insignificance following the selection of Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as Running Mate to Mr John Mahama in the December 2020 elections”.
