Whatsup News Editor Faces 2 Charges , Granted 10k Bail.

Managing Editor of Whatsup News David Tamakloe has been slapped with two counts of publishing false news and granted bail to the tune of GH¢10,000 with two sureties by the New Edubiase Magistrate Court in the Ashanti Region

As reported earlier that the Editor in Chief for Whatsup News was arrested on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 for publishing what the Police describes as fake news.

He is said to have published a story to the effect that minority groups living in New Edubiase like Ewes and Northerners were asked to leave.

 

His story was used on a morning show in New Edubiase and upon interrogation, the morning show host pointed to David Tamakloe as the source of the story.

David was picked up by the Police in Accra on Wednesday and was transported to New Adubiase that same night but information gathered indicates that David Tamakloe has been granted bail of GHC 10,000 with two sureties.

The Journalist is currently been prepared to be moved to Accra.
