Academy Music Group – a leading owner-operator of music venues in the United Kingdom, has announced that, Stonebwoy’s, O2 Academy Islington concert which was supposed to hold on Friday, 08 May, 2020 has been rescheduled for Saturday, 20 September, 2020.
Earlier, BMG [ Burniton Music Group ] – the official Powerhouse for the Nickelodeon & BET Winner, 3-Time Best Reggae/Dancehall Act in Africa cancelled the award-winning musician’s UK, and North American tours after officials placed an indefinite ban on social gatherings gatherings of more than 500 people, in perspective, large-scale events, as part of drastic measures to curb the spread of the respiratory disease known as Coronavirus (COVID-19).
However, in a tweet, the event centre which hosts hundreds of live events each year, including Stonebwoy’s yet to be staged concert stated that, the Ghanaian born Reggae/Ragga & Dance-hall artiste’s live performance has been moved to Saturday, 20 September, 2020. The firm urged fans who have purchased their tickets hang on to them as they’ll be valid for the new date with an assurance that, ticket agent will be in touch directly to explain it more.
Meanwhile, following a very successful Stonebwoy kickstart 2020 with massive appearances and performances at the 9th edition of the Afrocarib Festival that was stage at the Amphitheater at Miramar Regional Park in Florida as part of his UK Tour.
