Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Epixode and DJ Switch got IRAWMA nominations

The two most iconic Ghanaian dancehall acts got their spots in the Best African -Dancehall entertainer category alongside Epixode to battle it with Burna Boy and Patoranking from Nigeria.

The International Reggae And Music Award ( IRAWMA) which is meant to come on the 29th of March in Jamaica, Kingston also saw one of Ghana’s talented DJ Switch in the Best Young Entertainer category which add to 4 nominations from Ghana.

DJ switch will be battling a 7-year-old Ngozi Wright from Jamaica, 16-year-old musician Wayne J from Jamaica, 13-year-old Zimbabwean Dancehall act Vybz T and Mesa Khonesa.

The International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA) which was established in 1982 acknowledges and honors the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artistes, including songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians.

We pray they emerge winners as we do our part as voters.
