China has been hit by another dangerous virus
The virus is killing fowls and all domestic birds at a high speed
In the Chinese city of Shaoyang, another deadly bird flu has found its way into the livestocks, forcing farmers to kill about 4,500 chickens on the first day to prevent the rest of the birds from getting infected
As China is finding it hard to contain the coronavirus, the pathogenic virus strain of H5N1 avian influenza has already done away with 17,828 chickens within hours [ from Saturday morning to Saturday evening.]
According to Beijing’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on Saturday, the farm where the virus originated had about 7,850 chickens, all culled and disposed off.
World Health Organisation reveals that the virus can affect humans but rarely as it is very sensitive to heat, so all you have to do is cook your chicken well enough at least under a temperature of 70C.
Shaoyang is 350 miles away from Wuhan where the corona virus originated about a month with death toll rising to 259 people in China alone by Saturday, 12000 reported cases and scores of countries reporting 137 cases. It is believed that illegal wildlife and animals are sold in a darker side of the market in Wuhan where the virus escalated.
In some other news, the accident cases in Ghana are still on the as authorities are doing their best to stop it. Another gruesome one took away 5 lives today in the Central region
