I Want To Be Remembered As Truthful President – Nana Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has today, August 1, 2020 said that he wants to be remembered as the President who was truthful and fulfilled his promises.

According to Nana Addo , that’s the brain behind the fact that he is working extra hard to ensure that he fulfils all the promises he made whiles seeking for power in 2016.

He said currently, Ghanaians have lost hope in politicians because they are of the view that they just come to promise them but do not fulfil.

But with him, he intends to leave behind a lasting legacy that will erase the perception that politicians just promise to get power but fail to deliver after they have been given the peoples mandate.

The President who was speaking in an interview on Kumasi-based Wontumi FM said “I’m truthful and someone you can trust because I have fulfilled promises not all but most of the promises I made while in opposition. I want to be remembered as a truthful person.

“People make promises but don’t fulfil them. Some even get angry when you remind them that they promised this or that but for us, we stick to our promise and that is what we want to be remembered for.”

President Nana Addo noted that he will not be swayed from his vision by paying attention to the opposition and pressure to see infrastructure saying “if I should follow what they say I will deviate from what my mandate is, I will rather focus on what the people of Ghana expect me to do so that when I’m no more, they will know that I did more for the people of Ghana”.
