In response to the recent power outages across Ghana, The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo), which core functions are to acquire by purchase or otherwise construct, establish, manage, maintain all transmission facilities, works, buildings, and other systems necessary to transmit energy, has requested the Electricity Company of Ghana to provide the Volta Region and Oti with a power scheduled time table starting from tomorrow 18th March to undertake some repair works.
The Grid Company( GRIDCo ) had requested the Electricity Company of Ghana Ltd. ( ECG ) to interrupt the power supply from Thursday, 18th March 2021 to Monday 21st March 2021.
This request is to enable GRIDCo to undertake repair works on their transformer that supplies power to both Volta and Oti Regions through the 69KV transmission line from the Asiekpe Bulk Supply Point.
Given this exercise by GRIDCo, power will be interrupted to the following areas according to the schedule below.
