Ebusua Dwarfs Japanese Signee Jindo Takes Twi Class

Ebusua Dwarfs new signing, Jindo Morishita, has wasted no time in endearing himself to the fans of the Cape Coast-based club by sending a message to the fans with that included the fusion of a few Fante words.

Dwarfs confirmed the signing of the the 25 year old on Tuesday, and he becomes the first ever Japanese player to sign for a Ghana Premier League club after putting pen to paper on a one year contract.

His arrival will add more continental flavour to the league, after Brazilian, Fabio Gama, signed for Asante Kotoko at the start of the season.

In a video message to the fans, Morishita, who previously played for Zambian Premier League side, FC MUZA, said he couldn’t wait to get started in “one of the best leagues in Africa”.

“I am very much excited to play in one of the best leagues in Africa. I was very happy to hear that the Ghana U-20 team won the Africa U-20 and I’m very much excited to play football with these talented players and challenge myself.

“I really can’t wait to expose myself in front of all of you. I hope to pick up more Fante; for now I can speak ‘nkakra nkrakra’ (very little) but I will try to pick up. Medaase papaapa (thank you very much)”, he concluded.
