The minister of Science, Technology , Environment and innovation Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng has scored NPP Government 70% in the fight against galamsey.
He said proof on the ground shows “we have done quite well” as opposed to claims by some civil society groups and the National Democratic Congress that administration’s battle against scourge also called galamsey, has failed.

The Minister who has gone under criticism for his handling of the seize excavators which disappeared said he isn’t engaged with any crime as is being asserted by his critics, saying “It isn’t valid”.
“Each excavator that has been stolen will be recovered,” he guaranteed.
