A report filed by the Ghana Guardian reveals that a youth organizer for the National Democratic Congress ( NDC ) at the Mempeasem branch has been found dead in his room.
The deceased, Abass Seidu was found dead in his room four days after he passed on after neighbours realized a foul smell emanating from his room at Mempeasem.
“The reason we could not realize earlier that Abass had died was because Abass always travelled without notifying anybody including his family members”, a former youth organizer of Essikado-Ketan constituency of the NDC, Kofi Wayoe confirmed the sad incident.
“So when we did not see him or hear from him for four days, we thought he had traveled as usual,” he noted.
His door was forced open by the neighbors after which his lifeless body was found in the room. He was buried the same day since he was a Muslim.
