China Is closed: Great Wall And The Forbidden City.

The spread of Corona Virus is not only killing people in China but also killing major sources of revenue of the country.

Just after part of the country, Wuhan where the virus originated has been turned into  ‘Zombie City’, the country has taken steps to stop spreading the deadly virus beyond boundaries.

Part of the Great Walk of China has been closed to visitors, the Badaling section of the walk draws almost 5000 visitors from around the world everyday; a source of massive revenue.

Beijing’s Forbidden City , Shanghai Disneyland and some other 14 cities have been shut down, no exit no entry until further notice.

The closure is affecting 41m people and businesses.

This is to prevent pneumonia-like virus, Corona virus from getting beyond boundaries.

The Wuhan city is now a ghost city with all entries and exits blocked

There are fears the virus could spread rapidly during the ten-day Lunar New Year holiday, which will see hundreds of millions of Chinese residents travel domestically and abroad.

The World Health Organisation has stopped short of declaring a global emergency
