A group of four Indian men believed to have raped and killed a veterinary surgeon received death punishment by firing
The four men were arrested in the southern part of India and sent to the scene where they allegedly abused the victim Priyanka Reddy, 27, sexually before setting her on fire.
The suspects were supposed to be publicly lynched but just when they were being led to the scene, one tried grabbing a police gun to escape.
They were led off and fired to death by the police.
About 300 locals gathered at the scene to witnessed the firing. They hail the police for killing the rapists as some shower them with flowers and others hugged and lifted them high singing ‘long live police’.
Whilst some hail the act, sources has it that another group of people it’s a plan to cover their demand for accountability from the government for women through a thorough investigation.
