A 25-year woman from Bulanda in Matayos Constituency, Busia County is recovering at the Busia County Referral Hospital after her ex bit off her nose on Thursday night (March 12).
Sepha Kerubo said her ex-sweetheart raged her rented house in Bulanda and snatched her by the neck with the intention of choking her.
“I shouted to raise alarm. It was then that he bit off the lower some portion of my nose and spat it out before running away,” Kerubo disclosed to K24 Digital.
Neighbors, who showed up at the scene, discovered Kerubo bleeding bountifully and surged her to medical clinic.

The two were living under the same roof before Kerubo moved out after their February 2020 break up.
The injured said her ex had been hassling her to rejoin with him, yet she was not prepared to accept his request thus the assault.
Specialists at the Busia County Referral Hospital revealed to K24 Digital that Kerubo was in a steady condition, however it won’t be possible to reattach the cut off piece of her nose.
Kerubo can only get her nose back in shape though plastic surgery – said the doctor.
