Chinese Guard Mistakenly Shot 5 Ghanaian Workers.

A Chinese company security guard mistakenly pressed the trigger and wounded five Ghanaian Nationals in the process.

The shooter named Liu Xuejian, 47 years of age mistakenly released the shots when the workers were lined up for pay after work. The bullets hits the floor and scattered, hitting some in the chest and legs.

The Regional Police Command is currently having the man in their custody for putting lives in danger.

“… on the 30th December 2019 around the hours 13hrs15GMT, the Tema Regional Police Command received information that Chinese National had shot Ghanaian Workers at Tema Heavy Industrial area heavily wounding 5 workers” confimed by the Police.

The workers shot were:

  1. Fiabor Yomi ,24
  2. Benjamin Nyimfa, 23
  3. Brain Ofori, 24
  4. Kofi Julian Koomson,25
  5. Samuel Osei,24

They were taken to Narbita Hospital for immediate treatment.

“..we went to the hospital and saw the victims on admission with pellets marks on their legs. They are responding to treatment. ” the police statement added.

The case is under investigation.
