News report reaching globecalls.com indicates that Member of Parliament elects for Keta constituency Hon. Dzidzorli Gakpey has been attacked by some unknown gunmen at his residence.
Hon. Kwame Dzidzorli Gakpey who won on the NDC ticket in the just-ended polls is reported to be in critical condition after 10 unknown armed men besieged his residence at Anlo-Afiadenyigba, attacking him and his family at exactly 1:am Friday dawn Dec. 11.
According to reports, he managed to escape death by running to the police before he was later transported to Keta Municipal Hospital where is currently receiving treatment.
The police are currently investigating the incident. We will bring you further updates on this story.
