Burna Boy Lost His First Grammy To Angelique Kidjo.
Last night was a memorable one for Africa as black original made albums dominate and won the Best Album category.
However the most expected winner ( Burna boy, Nigeria) was disappointed as it went to another legend of the soil, Angelique Kidjo, Benin) .
Following the talks on social media about the award, a Nigerian twitter user who claimed to be a music analyst, came out with several reasons why the African Giant, Burna Boy missed on the award.
He wrote; Burna Boy winning would have been massive. A win might have aided our cause in propelling afrobeats to the world the more.
Still, the Grammy isn’t The Headies where one can predict who will win. It’s also not a respecter of big names
