What about a sanitizer that go all the way into your throat and kill germs perhaps one on it’s way into your system?
A viral video of a man mixing some alcoholic contents to make a what he refers to as a consumable disinfectant has gone viral.
In the video, the man mixed alcoholic contents apparently above 70% or less in making his disinfectant – spoonfuls of Johnny Walker White , Johnny Walker Black ( alcohol percentage – 50+ ) Polish Vodka ( Alcohol percentage – 96 ) , Jim Beam Whiskey ( 40 ) and finally Orànge Liquor ( 40 ) for a sweat taste.
According to him, disinfectants are now too expensive and scarce, so the best option is to mix one.
However, there is a question: Does this qualify as a sanitizer or a disinfectant?
Definitely not, active ingredients of sanitizers are Ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, glycerol, antibacterial soap and ethanol, and those are not found in consumable alcohols.
Moreover, the concentration of alcohol required to kill microorganisms is 60% and ideally 70%. Anything less than that, may not not kill microorganisms.
Therefore, mixing those alcohols are not trusted to be use in place of sanitizers and disinfectants.
