Bomb Explosion In Somalia Killed At Least 80

In the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu, it was alleged that Al-Qaeda affiliated Islamist group al-shabab vehicle full of explosives exploded and killed about 80 or more of which most are students and Police personnel.

The explosives car was parked at one of the busiest tax collection points that control most entries and exits from the city.

Health workers at one hospital said they had received 73 dead bodies , four more to others health centers.

Mohamed Yusuf, Medina Hospital boss revealed he fears the number will rise as his colleagues are dealing with a lot of injuries.

“..when the explosion happened, I was getting out of  a nearby tea shop. with my eyes wide open, I see pieces of human beings flying around. Osman Abdulle, a police sergeant. I collected the bodies of fellow policemen l identified and l saw the university bus reduced to ashes”

Another witnessed who heard the blast said he rushed to the place to help friends but said all of them were ripped apart.”blood and the remains of human bodies everywhere”

Saturday’s attack was the biggest after the October 14, 2017, when two trucks bombs detonated by al-shabab killing about 600 people.
