School Reopenings: Akuffo Addo’s 21st Nations Addresss On Measures Taken Against The Spread Of COVID-19

The President-elect of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has for the 21st time addresses the nation on measures taken to combat the novel COVID-19 since its emergence in the country.

From his address, we bring you the points made about the reopening of schools across the nation.

According to the President, kindergarten,  primary, and Junior High Schools, both private and schools will resume school on the 15 of January 2021.

All SHS 1 students will start classes from 10th March, with all students embarking on a single track academic calendar. With SHS 2 and 3 returning to school on the 18th January 2021.

He, however, stressed that SHS 3 and SHS 1 will longer be part of the double tracks system, thanks to the massive infrastructure development.
