The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged supporters to observe what they call Social Media Day of Prayer as the December polls approach.
The flag bearer of the party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announced on his Twitter handle Sunday, that the day has been dedicated to committing the party in prayer.
The President called on sympathizers to say a prayer with their social media accounts and attach #TheBattleIsTheLords.
The tweet read: βToday is a Social Media Day of Prayers. Use your social media account to say a short prayer for the President and the NPP for protection, wisdom, good health and victory. As we have always believed, the battle is the Lordβs.

May Allah guide the President and the NPP to the path of truth, victory and success.
May all their dealings be worth honoring by the masses in Ghana and beyond.
May any form of evil plots from the government against us perish in their various sources.
In the name of Allah.
