Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has called on politicians, ministers and other top officials to be more informative during this season .
According to her, this is no time for being diplomatic or secretive as getting most of the informations from less trusted online sources like WhatsApp creates more fear and panic.
She stated that Ghana is a poor developing country with natives who believe we are so cut off from the world that most of the things they go through can’t get to us, whereas on a regular day, a pregnant woman goes into labour room and never returns, malaria kills due to lack of health facilities.
Also, she added that, it is not enough to only advise about safety precautions because how many people have access to clean water and good health currently?
