Oswald: Ghanaians Fume At ‘Too Much’ Care For ‘Already Rich’ Oswald .

A section of Ghanaians have fumed over the excessive love Oswald, a rich kid, is receiving from brands and companies while there are many poor school kids in dire need.

According to some Ghanaians, the needs of the citizens must be prioritized and given urgent attention especially poor school kids in the rural areas who need something as basic as a desk.

Oswald has been at the receiving end of a plethora of goodies from FCMG companies, an iPad pro from Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, and a promise from Vodafone Ghana to connect his school to the internet for free.

Not to talk of the likes of Dolait Ghana, KFC Ghana, Pizza King, Burger King, MTN Ghana, amongst others trooping to the Graceland School to show Oswald mad love.

Oswald went to bed with the barest minimum of requests. He woke up with Ghana at his feet. A tall list of items changed into a tall list of companies and brands.

While many hail the efforts by these companies and brands which has resulted in gross social media attention, others are calling for a refocus and a shift of attention to those who actually need support.

According to many, Oswald already comes from a rich home where he has an iPad to spare. He also attends probably one of the best schools in Accra, the Christ Ambassadors School of Excellence (CASE) and has almost everything at his disposal.

Clearly, he does not need all the things he is receiving. Those who need them are the poor kids in the rural areas and deprived communities of Ghana, who have to run to the house anytime it rains. Who sit on makeshift stones and rocks serving as a desk and who have never touched or seen a computer mouse.

Why don’t you shift your attention to these people and help them instead of focusing on Oslwad and showing him with cosmetic love he might or does not need.

These are the concerns many Ghanaians have been raising. What do you think about it?

TV presenter Berla Mundi also called for aids for little Susan who also has dreams of becoming an engineer but had her’s unrecognized.

Teacher Kwadwo wrote: I am not being jealous or anything but can I get you all supporting OSWALD to also help me push the “FIX GES” with same energy? Can I get all the COMPANIES on board pls?
