Ghanaian corona virus suspected cases have been tested.
Reportage about some foreign nationals suspected of the new global pandemic has put fear and panic into the citizenry.
Some sources had it well promoted to put Ghanaians on the red alert and to take the necessary precautions to prevent the virus that has claimed more than 500 lives and sickened 20,000 from escalating if tested positive.
‘…we finished the test about an hour ago and it tested negative’ – Dr Kofi Bonney a Senior Researcher at Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research confirmed.
Two foreigners – a Chinese man and an Argentine, who reported to Korle Bu teaching Hospital on Wednesday were quarantined after showing some symptoms of the virus.
Their blood samples were taken and sent to Nugochi Memorial Hospital of Medical Research for examination which turned out to be negative.
The virus’ damage according to National Health Commission China reads:

- 1153 cured
- 20,018 confirmed cases
- 28,702 suspected cases
- 186,354 under medical watch
