National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Dumelo says he’s heartbroken that the people of his constituency will suffer floods during every rainfall.
John Dumelo in the early part of the year tried to drain the gutters at Wesland which is always flooded whenever there are rains.
However, he was stopped by the Assembly for reasons best known to them
Reacting to the floods that wrecked areas at West land in his constituency, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate noted that after he was stopped, nothing was done about the area leaving the people to the mercy of the weather.

He could not fathom why the Assembly stopped him when they knew certainly that they are not ready to fix the problem and indicated that he will fix the issue if he’s given the power to lead the people of Ayawaso West Wugon.
Dumelo in a tweet said “how long can we continue to leave our West land people in this situation when it rains?When we attempted fixing this, we were stopped, yet those who stopped us are yet to do something about this in Ayawaso West. Take my word, I will fix this when elected!”
