Multiple Buses Involved In Another Gory Accident At Asuobi On Accra To Kumasi Highway.
Reports from StarFM indicated that two buses identified as Jeoun Bus and Hyundai bus on top speed from Kumasi vered off the road in attempt to prevent a collision with an oncoming bus which was overtaking other vehicles.
hese two transports were from from Kumasi. One Hyundai transport with registration number GE 564 – 18 and a Jeoun VIP Bus with registration number GS 8198-12 all coming from Kumasi. At Asuobi, there is this Articulator truck broken down, occupying half of the road.
“So there was this VIP transport from Accra which did an overtaking and the driver of the Jeoun VIP transport saw that in the event that he needs to go he will crash with the transport so he veered off the street and the Hyundai transport following it likewise veered off the street and they climbed a little hill at the side of the road,” an observer Kwadwo Minta disclosed to Starr News.
Injured passengers were rushed to Suhum Government Hospital and a clinic nearby for treatment.
This mishap comes scarcely two weeks after at least 35 travelers passed on the Cape Coast Takoradi street when a Man Diesel with enrollment number GR 5704-18 which was going from Takoradi towards Cape Coast and a Hyundai transport with enlistment number GN 3780-10 from Cape Coast towards Takoradi smashed head-on.
