Angelique Kidjo was seen in Nigerian radio station speaking fluent Yourba language.

 

According  to a video posted online by blogger lindaikeji, the Grammy winner is currently Nigeria for a show in Western part of the country.

She was in the studio with singer Asa who gave her an big hug before complementing her footwear.

She said; ‘….this is my first time in Lagos, my first time playing in Lagos, my last time here was in 93 l left here when l was 13.

The songstress revealed that her father was too afraid to let her mom take her to Lagos, perhaps she may not return to continue her education.

In some other news Kuami Eugene is receiving a major boost for Fadama Boy Concert ahead of the show.
