Three pupils have been confirmed dead after a fierce lightning during school hours in Nakuru County in Kenya upon arrival at a hospital.
The deceased were among the 30 on whom the lightning occurred. Four others were referred to Nakuru Level 5 Hospital for special treatments
The Governor of Nakuru County shared his condolence with the deceased’s family
Kinyanjui said the county government dispatched three ambulances to help in taking the pupils to hospitals.
Mkulima Location chief, John Macharia Muhia, said 23 pupils, who sustained minor injuries, received treatment at Kuresoi Health Centre, and most of them were discharged Thursday evening.
