Land subsidence is when the surface of the earth sinks in all of a sudden causing any object on the surface to below the earth.
The principal causes of land subsidence are aquifer-system compaction, drainage of organic soils, underground mining, hydrocompaction, natural compaction, sinkholes, and thawing permafrost according to usgs.gov
The video which was shared on an American blog on Instagram made it clear that the car went deeper into the earth and only took specialists to recover it after a long day of work.
