According to the police, on 11th May 2021, they received information that a group of people from Abokobi-Akporman had gone to the Abokobi- Boi public cemetery and buried one Theophilus Budu, aged 49, who died on 10th May 2021.

The police, upon receiving the information, reportedly proceeded to the scene and confirmed the report.

The police added that about 5:00am on May 12, 2021, they received information that the casket with the body of the deceased had been exhumed from the grave and placed outside by unknown persons.
