Over 9K Unwanted Pregnancies In 3 Weeks Of Lockdown

This is no surprised as several videos of women crying over too much ‘chop’ by the partners during the lockdown in Ghana.

We saw viral videos of multiple women complaining that men were demanding too much sex during the 3 weeks lockdown imposed by the Government as a preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19.

Well, it has indeed been proven that a lot of sexual activities happened between couples during the lockdown which affected Kasoa, Kumasi, and Accra.

The Population Council has revealed that per stats available to them, over 9,000 unwanted pregnancies have been recorded in this short period.

Speaking on TV3’s Pandemic show, the Executive Director of the National Population Council, Dr Leticia Adelaide Appiah made this known stating that the lockdown has increased the number of pregnancies in Ghana within the last 3 weeks.

As it stands, Ghana as at the time of this report has 1,671 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 188 recoveries and 16 deaths.

  11. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any methods to help stop content from being ripped off? I’d definitely appreciate it.
