One Day They Will Sell Us Back Into Slavery – Lydia Forson Shades Gov’t

Actress Lydia Forson has thrown a diring shade at the leaders at the helm of affairs as she expressed fear over the heavy debt Ghana is laden with.

Ghana in recent times has been heavily indebted to some developed countries with China at the top of the feeding chain. And since the country fails to pay some of the loans at the due time, some of the country’s resources are used as collateral.

Resources such as Gold, bauxite, cocoa, and many others are sold to these Western countries at their preferred price.

With this sad development which the leaders seem careless about in mind, Lydia Forson fears that one day, she will be walking on the street and get grabbed and dragged into slavery because the leaders by them would have sold her as part of the collateral.

I feel like one day I’ll be walking and someone will grab me by the neck and start dragging me to the boat because they sold us as part of the country and we didn’t know. 😢😢 – she wrote.
