Omah Lay And Tems To Be Sentenced To 7 Years In Prison

Nigerian stars Omah Lay and Tems are reported to have been sentenced to 7 years in prison for violating COVID-19 protocols in Uganda.

Omah Lay and Tems were arrested after a musical concert on Saturday night at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

News reports reaching globecalls.com indicates that the duo is about to be jailed for a maximum of 7 years as a penalty for breaking the COVID-19 protocols in the country.

Omah Lay, and musician Tems, staged a musical concert on Saturday night at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

At a few minutes past 1:00pm, the musicians were brought to Makindye court in a rather secretive arrangement. In court, Omah Lay was seen covering his face with a pink wrapper, clearly hiding from the attention of the cameras.

Upon hearing the case, Omah was sent to Kitalya Prison where he will be until December 16. Tems, on the other hand, was sent to Kigo Prison and will also return to court on the same date.
