The incumbent Member of Parliament of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency Lydia Alhassan who contested against NDC’s John Setor Dumelo in the 2020 elections has showered praises on John Dumelo despite winning against him.
According to Lydia Alhassan in an interview on TV3, she admires John Dumelo for putting up a good fight and a free and fair election devoid of voilence.
According to her, John Dumelo didn’t have any experience in Politics but he did well with his good conduct throughout the process.
So far, the final results coming in clearly proves that John Dumelo lost against Lydia Alhassan.
From the results, Lydia Seyram Alhassan (NPP) secured 39, 851 votes whiles John Dumelo of NDC fame pulled 37, 778 votes.
