Manchester City boss Josep Guardiola has explained why the current crop of Chelsea footballers plays so well.
Interestingly, this was before the two locked horns yesterday evening in Porto’s Estadio Do Dragao but the ‘better’ tactician who failed to make the treble of his dreams couldn’t unlock the packed center defense he talked about.
He praises Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel for his close-range defense line which makes it very difficult to close in on them when playing against them.
According to Guardiola, Chelsea always presses its opponents wide off of the side whilst keeping the depth on target in a close range. He speaks to Rio Ferdinand.
