ASEPA Gives BoG 48hrs To Refund Missing 52Billion.

Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA), has given a 48-hour ultimatum to the Bank of Ghana (BoG), to refund the 52 billion Cedis missing from Ghana Commercial Bank’s (GCB) Transit Account to unknown accounts.

They stated their plans for storming the premises of the Central Bank to demand the missing money.

The Group called on the Central Bank to publish the daily clearance report of GCB Bank from 2017 to 2020.

This according to the Executive Secretary of ASEPA, Mensah Thompson, will allow citizens to know the people to whom these illegal monies were transferred.
