Abena Model is a fast rising Ghanaian Fashion and Runway model and a Brand Influencer. Known in real life as Nancy Acheampomaa Nkrumah, Abena Model is gradually walking her way through to become one of Africa’s most sought after fashion and runway model.

Born in Kwahu which is located in the  Eastern part Ghana, Abena has 5 sisters of which she happens to be the last child. An old student of Mawuko Girls Senior High School; she is currently a student of University Of Ghana studying Business Administration.

Abena’s love for modeling is so immense that, she  enrolled in a fashion school for more training. She graduated with certificate in Fashion Runway hence making her a professional Runway Model.

Fashion Modeling is a very big business avenue for many model. People in this industry have been able to get deals worth millions hence making the job attractive.

Even though  Abena is young in the Fashion Industry, she has been able to secure herself some deals. The fast rising model has done fashion, beauty, lifestyle and commercial shoot for brands like Pink Perry, Davies Palace, Nallem Clothing, Jamatarsh and Hairytales Beauty Saloon.

As a professional runway model, Abena has also been to fashion events. She slayed twice at Accra Fashion Week and Passion for Fashion.

Abena Model is also video vixen and has made cameo appearances in so many classic Ghanaian music videos like Stonebowy’s “Kpo K3k3”, Epixode’s “Single ladies”, Tic Tac ft Kuami Eugene “Kwani Kwani” Samini ‘Dada BaaKo p3″ and other popular ones.

In one-on-one interview with Abena, I asked her to name a few models she looks up to. “I learn from everyone whether the person is an upcoming model or an already established fashion model. Well, a few notable names I really follow and learn a lot from are Edem Faire, Miz Jolie, Araba Sey, Beverly Osu and Queennyakim” she said.

The Ghanaian modeling industry is fast growing, asked where she sees herself in five years, she said, “In five years, Godwilling i want to see myself as an international model and also become one of the most sought after Fashion and Runway model in Africa. I will set another goal higher than this after five years *laughs*”
